A seamless oval shell that looks as if it has just landed, designed by the Turkish architect Melike Altınışık (formerly of Zaha Hadid Architects) after an international competition. Inside there are no columns; the curved parts were made with 3D scanning, CNC cutting and factory prefabrication.
Getting in: Tue–Sun 9:30–17:30; adults ₩2,000, under-20s and over-65s free. Book guided tours on the Seoul reservation site. 5 minutes from Changdong Station exit 1.
