Historic house · Built for the poet-monk Han Yong-un · 1933 · Seongbuk-gu
Address: 서울 성북구 성북로29길 24
A small hanok up a steep Seongbuk-dong lane where the poet and independence activist Han Yong-un spent his last years. Unusually it faces north: he refused to face the Japanese Government-General building in the south. It is a national Historic Site.
Getting in: Open daily except Monday, 10:00–17:00, free. A steep 15-minute walk from Hansung University Station.
