Yearly festivals that Seoul's district offices promote, by usual month. Dates change every year, so check the linked page before you go.

• Seodaemun Ansan Cherry Blossom Festival (서대문 안산 벚꽃축제), Seodaemun-gu. April. Ansan Jarak-gil (Ansan Jarak-gil Trail). Cherry blossoms along the Ansan forest boardwalk, timed to the bloom. District page
• Yeouido Spring Flower Festival (여의도 봄꽃축제), Yeongdeungpo-gu. April. Yeouiseo-ro behind the National Assembly (The National Assembly Building). Seoul's best-known cherry blossom road, closed to cars for the festival. District page
• Seokchon Lake Cherry Blossom Festival (호수벚꽃축제), Songpa-gu. April. Seokchon Lake (Songpa Naru Park (Seokchonhosu Lake)). Cherry trees around both halves of Seokchon Lake, with Lotte World Tower behind. District page
• Buramsan Azalea Festival (불암산 철쭉제), Nowon-gu. April. Buramsan Healing Town (Buramsan Mountain). Azalea gardens on the slopes of Buramsan in bloom. District page
• Jungnang Seoul Rose Festival (중랑 서울장미축제), Jungnang-gu. May. Jungnang Rose Park (Jungnang Rose Park). Millions of roses along the Jungnangcheon embankment, with evening lights. District page
• Seodaemun Independence & Democracy Festival (서대문독립민주축제), Seodaemun-gu. August. Seodaemun Independence Park (Seodaemun Independence Park). Held around Liberation Day (15 August) at the former prison and Independence Gate. District page
• Sinchon Global University Culture Festival (신촌 글로벌 대학문화 축제), Seodaemun-gu. September – October. Yonsei-ro, Sinchon (Yeonsero (Yonsei University Street)). Student bands and performances on the car-free Yonsei-ro. District page
• Seoul International Fireworks Festival (서울세계불꽃축제), Yeongdeungpo-gu. September – October. Yeouido Hangang Park (Yeouido Hangang Park). Teams from several countries fire over the Han River on one evening; arrive by afternoon or watch from across the river. District page
• Hanseong Baekje Cultural Festival (한성백제문화제), Songpa-gu. September. Olympic Park (Olympic Park). A festival for the Baekje kingdom whose first capital stood here (2025: 26–28 Sept). District page
• Seoripul Festival (서리풀페스티벌), Seocho-gu. September. Banpo-daero and around Seocho. Seocho's arts festival, when Banpo-daero becomes a car-free stage. District page
• Gangnam Festival (강남페스티벌), Gangnam-gu. October. Around COEX and Yeongdong-daero (Convention and Exhibition Center (COEX)). Gangnam's big street festival with K-pop concerts and parades. District page
• Gangdong Prehistoric Culture Festival (강동선사문화축제), Gangdong-gu. October. Seoul Amsa-dong Prehistoric Site (Amsa-dong Prehistoric Site Museum). Hands-on prehistoric life, performances and a night light show at the Neolithic village site. District page
• Heojun Festival (허준축제), Gangseo-gu. October. Seoul Botanic Park, Magok Plaza (Seoul Botanic Park). Herbal-medicine themed festival in the second week of October (2025: 10–11 Oct). District page
• Gwanak Gang Gam-chan Festival (관악강감찬축제), Gwanak-gu. October. Nakseongdae Park and around (Nakseongdae Park). Parades and events for the Goryeo general Gang Gam-chan, born at Nakseongdae. District page
• Sinchon Countdown Concert (신촌 카운트다운 콘서트), Seodaemun-gu. December. Yonsei-ro, Sinchon (Yeonsero (Yonsei University Street)). A New Year's Eve concert and countdown on Yonsei-ro (31 December). District page
